Notes on Between Death & LifeChapter 14: IMPRINTING
The radical idea of imprinting was brought up accidentally when Dolores Cannon (the Hypnotherapist) happened to ask a male subject a chance question:
Dolores: Have you had many lives on this planet Earth?
Subject: This is my first physical life, my first true incarnation on this planet. I have had imprints from many others and been assistant to others. However, this is my first true physical incarnation on Earth.- Information can be drawn from the Akashic records & imprinted into one's soul, and it will then be their experience.
- An imprint is as real as if actually having the experience (emotions, memories).
- It is the ability to live thousands, hundreds of thousands, of years on a planet & actually never have been there before.
- If one were to come to this planet without the aid of imprints, one would be totally lost. One would not understand customs, religions, politics, or how to act in a social environment. This is the necessity for imprint.
- It allows the vehicle to feel comfortable in its new surroundings & in those experiences which would be totally foreign.
- Innocents have no experience with anger or fear as you know it. It would incapacitate them. It would paralyze them. They would be totally traumatized.
Apparently we rely more on our subconscious memory than we realize. It seems to be like a computer bank from which we constantly draw comparisons in our daily lives.- Imprints become, in reality, a part of that soul and are so carried with that soul.
- There is no proprietorship to these imprints. They are open to all. And so it becomes useless to try to pinpoint who was actually that person, for it is meaningless.
- It can be verified as easily with the actual soul or with one who experienced the same imprint, it makes no difference.
- Human experience is like a filter & colors these perceptions which pass through it.
- Example: If an experience in the Cleopatra information was found objectionable to that soul, it would be edited or deleted as to not cause disruption of the entity. [kind of like self-editing]
- There is much that can be learned from these recalls.
- Not only for the regressee but for those who hear of this. Much knowledge can be shared so there is much use for everyone
- The imprint is determined by what the incarnation's goals are to be.
- Example) If one were to become a leader, then one might have imprints from various levels of leaders (tribal, presidents, mayor & so forth).
- There is also secondary & even tertiary advantage of learning humility, patience, fun & entertainment. All of the multitudes of experiences are in these imprints.
- The effect is to learn lessons from others' experiences.
- There is a method which is far too complex to understand.
- Analogy: Something like a master computer (containing all past lives of that planet), which information is fed in of what is to be expected of this life, and the appropriate imprints are then selected & overlaid.
- There is a hierarchy of spirits whose job it is to do this. There is a council which oversees this. They assist the soul.
- The imprint is experienced as a three-dimensional summation; all experiences, remembrances, emotions are imprinted into that soul & become a part of it.
- The imprint simply gives reference from which to draw. It does not assist in working off any karma.
- Were everyone to receive imprints then there would be a standstill in which no one would be experiencing true lives. And there would be nothing , eventually, relative to imprint from.
- The soul still has free will & has the power to reject if he finds an imprint which is not acceptable to him.
- The imprints are complete at the time of birth. But extra imprints are also available whenever necessary.
- Analogy: Road trip - like stores along the way or map overlays.
- The opening of oneself is key here.
- Imprints are simply aids; not necessary for everyone.
- Jesus came as the foundation for this present evolution, to imprint this particular life for the healing of this planet.
- That is what is called the "Christ Consciousness".
- Some operate with Christ Consciousness through their inner planes.
- It is a most profound experience, as sure as a light being turned on in the darkness.
- Much conflict is created from arguments over what to call these experiences. Labeling becomes the crutch, so they can hang on to that which is unseen. The labeling then becomes more important than that which is labeled.
- The incarnate body of Jesus was not the only incarnation on this planet of the Christ consciousness.
- The effort has to be directed at allowing people to see what is beneath the labels & accept them for what they are.
