Blog 50: Part 2_MEDITATIONS, EXERCISES, TECHNIQUES & DIETARY CONSIDERATIONS (Children of Law of 1 & Lost Teachings of Atlantis by J. Peniel)

 Part 2: Meditations, Exercises, Techniques
& Dietary Considerations (Pages 355-369)
Counting Breath
  1. SIT with your SPINE STRAIGHT
  2. As you INHALE, count to yourself silently, "ONE"
  3. As you EXHALE, again count "ONE" silently
  4. As you INHALE AGAIN, count "TWO"
  5. EXHALE, count "TWO" again
  6. CONTINUE like this until you get to "TEN"
  7. THEN START THE CYCLE OVER AGAIN AT ONE
  8. Your OBJECTIVE is to do 5 sets of 1-10 without your mind wandering.  When you can do that, your CONCENTRATION is WELL DEVELOPED.

Contemplation & Visualization of Unselfish Love
NOTE:  The following exercise requires understanding of the difference between "love" and "Unselfish Love".  Reading Chapter 8 on Love {Blog 29}, is recommended.  Do this exercise when you are NOT tired.

STEP ONE:
  • To begin, ask yourself the following questions - and answer them:
    • What is Unselfish Love?
    • What does it mean to be Unselfishly Loving?
    • Am I always Loving Unselfishly?
  • If the answer to that is NO, think about the most recent situation(s) in which you have NOT loved Unselfishly, and go on to the next question:
    • Why did I not Love Unselfishly in that situation?
  • Once you have thought about it, let go of the thought about why you didn't Love Unselfishly.
  • Now, again think of the situation & completely visualize it in your mind BUT this time VISUALIZE YOURSELF BEING UNSELFISHLY LOVING, and VISUALIZE THE RESULTS OF THAT.
  • Finally, ask yourself:
    • What should I be doing to express/manifest Unselfish Love all the time?
  • Ask the Universal Spirit/God/One/Source:
    • What would you have me do?
  • Do an affirmation such as:
    • I am Unselfishly Loving.
    • I am a humble servant of the Universal Spirit/God/Source.
STEP 2:
  • Start by "calling up" the feeling & concept of Unselfish Love.
  • Visualize someone you have the most Unselfish Love for (ex. Jesus, true teacher, child, parent, best friend, etc.).
  • Feel the Unselfish Love (yours & theirs).
  • While you are holding onto that feeling, think of someone you like but don't love.
  • Feel Unselfish Love for the ESSENCE of that person - THEIR SPIRIT.
  • Now think of someone you dislike.
  • Feel Unselfish Love for their essence/spirit also.
    • only extend your feeling to their essence, their spirit, their inner being
  • Expand your love to embrace everyone & everything.

Blogger's Note:  Another exercise you could do in substitute of this is -
  • Pray for all of your loved ones, then strangers, then enemies, then everyone in the world, and so forth.
  • Visualize sending light & love to your family, friends, strangers, enemies, and so forth.  Picture them surrounded by a bright white light.
Kind for a Day
  • Every morning, choose one person in your life, who you will put out an EXRTA effort to be thoughtful of, humble with, and kind towards.
  • All through the day, stop & consider their feelings, their needs, what it's like to walk in their shoes.
  • Treat them special (massage, special meal, gift, etc.)
  • The next morning, choose a different person.
Meditation Walk
  • The meditation walk is a method that synchronizes your breathing with the number of steps you take while walking.
  • Once you have set the pace (up to you), begin breathing in coordination with your walking.
  • Create a pattern that is comfortable for you.
    • Inhale 3 steps, hold breath 1  step, exhale 3 steps, hold breath 1 step
    • Inhale 4 steps, exhale 4 steps
    • You can use any number of steps you choose as long as the inhale & exhale number of steps are equal.
  • Try to do this exercise every day, around the same time (for a minimum of 5 minutes)
  • If you are doing it properly you will find that you are more aware/conscious, of your environment; brings you greater integration/Oneness within yourself, and without (your environment).
Kundalini
When a being truly becomes devoted to serving the Universal Spirit, surrenders to Universal Will, and develops Unselfish Love & Harmlessness, many things change with them.  One of the most profound forces involved in these changes, is the Kundalini.

Kundalini comes as an activation of energy along the spine.  As the Kundalini force passes through the body's endocrine glands & their corresponding nerve centers, there is a stimulation & "awakening" of the 7 centers or "chakras", that are associated with these glands & nerve groups.  This brings new awareness & activity in areas of the vibrational spectrum that were previously self-blocked from the person's experience.  And that gives a person powerful new abilities, and great responsibility.

If the body is not pure enough, and has not been prepared for this powerful evolutionary energy,  it can cause a great deal of distress, and illness, as the body rushes to "catch up", to purify itself enough, and to develop "nerve circuits" that are strong enough to handle new energies.  All this can be made easier, and even brought on by, purification & attunement of the physical body, in coordination with the mind & spirit.  All of the meditations, exercises, techniques & diet suggestions in Part 2 of the book (pages 333-369) can help {blogs 48-50}.

STERN WARNING:  Through doing certain exercises, such as Kundalini Yoga, you may also activate the Kundalini, BUT THIS IS FORCING IT.  Such exercises are good IF they are under the guidance of a TRUE TEACHER & correspond with the entity's spiritual growth, but can be very dangerous & detrimental in other circumstances (see Chapter 19/Blog 43).  There are other means of forcing the Kundalini also, including drugs & scientific devices.  Obtaining temporary "enlightenment" by Kundalini raised by Skakti, or any other means, does nothing to make for a better person.  Inducing or forcing enlightenment through external means is like temporarily airlifting a person to the top of the mountain.  Sure, they experience Universal Consciousness, but it's only temporary, they have not climbed there themselves, and they do not belong there.  They must come back down, and  it is quite a fall.  DO NOT FOOL YOURSELF, THERE ARE NO SHORTCUTS.

Physical Aids to Spiritual Consciousness
The physical body can be a window of sorts to your entire being.  Everything is interconnected, all One, & when you apply things such as herbs, yoga, diet, etc. on the physical plane, you affect your mental, emotional, & spiritual aspects as well

When you apply mental thoughts that involve spiritual energies to things like yoga, & what you eat, it aids the spiritual effects of the physical applications, making these things even more powerful.

Yoga
Yoga is a very old discipline that tones your body, while freeing up & flowing Universal Life Energy, & sometimes facilitating the activation of Kundalini.  One of the most popular & well known, is Hatha yoga, which involves moving & stretching your body in various ways.

Physically doing yoga exercises without the interplay/integration of the mental & spiritual, would be like going through the motions of playing a musical instrument without actually playing anything.  It is impractical to teach yoga in this book, but instructional & workout videos of CLO's techniques have been made if you are interested...called "Tibetan Yoga"...some like acupuncture meridian balancing energy techniques (easy, takes about 20 minutes).

P.S.  It is best to do Yoga naked if possible.  Clothing, especially footwear or socks, restrict/disrupt some of the body's energy flows.

Tai Chi
Tai Chi & its various counterparts are newer than some yogas, and were originally developed by high consciousness monks as "inner forms" of the different fighting styles or "Kung Fus".  These inner forms were used to develop such things as inner strength, Universal Life Energy (Ki/Chi) power, accuracy, & concentration.  It is a form of meditation & flowing life energy.  It takes far more time to learn than yoga, however, and many years to master.

DIET
When you eat, you should be feeding your spiritual body with energy as well as your physical body.  You should also choose a diet that is right for you.  Every body is different, and every diet needs to be adjusted for a given body.

Charging Your Food
"Charging" your food with Universal Life Energy before you eat, restores the food's lost energy, and then some (depending on you).  To charge your food before eating, place your hands at the sides of your bowl or dish, as near the food as possible.  Then visualize the energy flowing through you, into the food, making the food radiant with light.

Basic Dietary Considerations:
  1. Eat foods that are as pure as possible in as natural a state as possible (mostly raw; organic).
  2. Balance your intake of acid & alkaline forming foods to 80% alkaline & 20% acid.
  3. Don't mix fruits & vegetables.
  4. Don't mix sweets& starches.
  5. Minimize how many different foods you eat at one meal (no more than 3).
  6. Eat foods grown as locally as possible.
  7. Eat only when you are really hungry.
  8. Chew very well.
  9. Drink pure water.
  10. Relax.  Don't eat when you're tense or upset.
  11. Eat about 2/3 of what would normally make you full.  An excess of nutritional elements in the system becomes toxic.
Fasting
  • Fasting facilitates the elimination of stored up toxins.
  • Ancient teachings of Jesus, indicate that we should fast 7 days for every year we have eaten impure foods.
  • When you start a fast, the body's eliminative & digestive organs don't have new food to work with, so they turn to all the stored toxins, diseased cells, tumors, etc. & begin to break up & expel them.
  • Start with a 3 or 4 day juice fast & work your way from there (done with guidance; see above reference).
  • Especially effective is the 40 day water fast - this can be accompanied by vivid spiritual visions & revelations (only to be done under proper supervision & guidance).
Cold Shower
A cold shower benefits the whole being.  It has rejuvenating, healing, and stimulating effects with the entire body.  A cold shower taken daily, builds resistance to disease & infections.  It should be at least 5 minutes long.  You can start with warm water & get colder (last 5 minutes cold water only) or even alternate but finish with cold.

Color Visualization -
Chakra Exercise
This exercise uses the power of visualization to stimulate the 7 chakras.  
  • Start with your spine erect
  • Visualize colored light energy at each chakra, starting with the root chakra & flowing upwards in order (see above)
  • Dwell on each chakra for at least one breath cycle ( inhale & exhale), longer if you can visualize the colors better
  • When you are done with the crown chakra, begin again at the root chakra.
  • Keep repeating this for 20  minutes or as long as you have time for

Dreams
Many dreams are opportunities, lessons, and experiences that are presented by your Inner Being.  Some dreams can be psychic or precognitive vision, out-of-body experience, intuitive problem solving, etc.

Physical illness or disturbances, or mental disturbances in either the conscious or sub-conscious, can affect or even create & dominate dream experiences.  These are the only dreams to be ignored.

Integrating our fragmented consciousness, and getting full benefits from dreams can be facilitated in the following ways:
  1. Extending the waking consciousness into the dream.  You may use a key symbol to trigger recognition of awareness within a dream (triangle, looking at hands, light).
  2. Extending a dream into waking consciousness.  Record your dreams every morning.
  3. Daily reviewing of dreams.  The best way to understand the meaning of your dreams is to take in the whole picture intuitively.
  4. Use the following affirmation at bedtime (repeat silently as going to sleep):
    • I remember my dreams and am conscious while dreaming.
Reviewing the Day's Activities
Write down what your day's activities actually were.  Do this every night.  Do  not read this record until a month has passed.  After a month, compare your activities & experiences with your current ones.  
  • Close your eyes
  • Go back & view the experiences you had during the day
  • Do you find any negative experiences?
  • Did you become negative, upset, about something?
  • Make any mistakes?
  • Go back again to the beginning & re-imagine it, see negative experiences as occurring positively; fix reactions & mistakes (in positive, constructive manner).
The mind creates.  Through doing this exercise you will begin to break out of negative patterns & create new patterns that are in harmony with Universal Will.

Part 2: Meditations, Exercises & Techniques (pages 347-354)

The Star Exercise
  1. Remove shoes & socks
  2. Stand with your feet about 1 yard (3 feet) apart on the ground (preferably outside)
  3. Put your arms straight out to your sides (see below)
  4. Turn your left palm up toward the sky & your right palm down toward the earth
  5. Begin breathing intensely & deeply (rapid, hard breaths), drawing Universal Life Energy (Chi/Prana) from the air, into your Solar Plexus Chakra (belly)
  6. Visualize & feel the life energy building in your Solar Plexus & then distributing throughout your whole body
  7. Visualize the energy flowing into your left hand, through/across your body, and out your right hand
  8. Next, inhale & hold your breath & visualize/say to yourself, "I am one with Universal Life Energy, it is flowing through me now, I feel it."
  9. Then exhale & repeat step 8.
This exercise is GREAT to do with another person, or even better, a group of people.  If you do this exercise with multiple people:
  • The energy pouring out of your right hand can be given to the next person & so on (if more than 2 people, then form a complete circle, with no one nearby; which can be dangerous for those outside the circle)

VIDEO:

The Pineal Wave
  1. Stand erect, feet together (preferably outside, no shoes, feet on the ground/grass)
  2. Visualize your pineal gland (near center of brain, behind eyes, between ears) as a ball of white light energy
  3. Inhale, maintaining the visual
  4. Then exhale sharply, shooting the ball of white light down through your body, deep into the center of the Earth
  5. Wait a second or 2, then begin to inhale again slowly, feeling the energy come up from the Earth, then up into your body, and back to the pineal.
  6. Repeat the above at least 3 more times

Planetary Polarity Attunement
  1. Get a compass & find the exact direction of north/south.
  2. Lie down flat on your back with your body aligned north/south, your head pointing towards the south.
  3. Relax your body.
  4. Watch your body breathe.
  5. Feel yourself dissolve into oneness with whatever you are laying on.
  6. Imagine the immensity of the planet Earth.
  7. Visualize Earth suspended in space, slowly spinning around on its axis.
  8. Feel your body moving with it.
  9. Next, feel the lower part of your body, which is facing north, becoming energized.
  10. Begin feeling your chakras becoming energized, starting with your lowest/root chakra, and moving up to the heart chakra (stop there).
  11. After five minutes, reverse your position so your head is pointing north & feet pointing south.
  12. Follow the same procedure, but this time start at your heart chakra & go up to the crown chakra.
  13. Continue for 5 minutes.

Mirror Exercise - Chanting
  1. Stand in front of a mirror, in a dark room, with only a candle or 2 (night light or small electric light work) in front of the mirror.
  2. The mirror should be 1-2  feet away from your face.
  3. If you can, burn some incense before starting (Frankincense & Myrrh are strongly recommended).
  4. Sit on the floor or in a chair, keep your spine straight & erect.
  5. To begin, look into the right eye of your reflection (on right side)
  6. Start chanting a mantra (something powerful & meaningful to you such as: Yod-He-Vau-He or Jesus or Buddha or Universal Spirit or whatever you choose)
  7. Refrain from blinking if you can, especially when you see phenomenon or other faces (blinking can jolt you out of the altered state that is allowing you to see such things).
  8. Continue doing the exercise for at least 10 minutes (continue working on extending it a little every day, 30 minutes will generally yield the best results).
  9. Whatever phenomenon may appear, stay focused on what you are doing, don't allow anything to lure your attention away.
  10. You may experience "The Dweller on the Threshold" (your selfish separate self), if so then look that beast right in the eye & love it /9the only way to pass the dweller is through love, Unselfish Love).

Conscious Breath
One way to acquire sub-conscious control & conscious integration, is to really become AWARE of your breathing, without controlling it.  Through passive concentration necessary to bridge these aspects, the conscious mind becomes still, quiet, free from the  constant internal noise & reaction to external stimuli which prevent/block the reflection of Universal Consciousness.
  • Sit with your spine erect
  • "Watch" your body breathe
  • Be aware of your breathing
  • As soon as you realize your mind has wandered, bring it back to watching your breath (don't waste time reprimanding yourself, that only feeds the separate self & defeats your purpose)
  • BRINGING YOURSELF BACK TO THE OBJECT OF CONCENTRATION IMMEDIATELY UPON RECOGNIZING THAT YOU'VE WANDERED OFF, APPLIES TO ALL CONCENTRATION/MEDITATION TECHNIQUES.

The Sacred Breath
The Sacred Breath is a "staple" meditation of a true teacher.  It involves several aspects of meditation: active, conscious breath control; The "little death" of lingering during the period after exhalation, and prior to inhalation; The taking in of Universal Life Energy through the breath into the Solar Plexus; And concentration.
  1. Start by inhaling deeply & completely, then exhaling deeply & completely (like a deep sigh).
  2. Now here's  where it's tricky:  Begin inhaling VERY slowly, so subtly & minutely that you can't even tell you are inhaling - but make sure you ARE inhaling.  When you do this, you want to completely visualize that you are inhaling Universal Life Energy (Prana/Chi) right into your solar plexus.
  3. Now, when you start to feel that you need to take a breath, go ahead & take one - then again, exhale fully & deeply as if you were sighing.
  4. Repeat this for as long as you have time for.
You can do this throughout your day anytime you think about it, in order to bring your consciousness back to TRUE REALITY (to break the illusion of the day to day reality).

Grand Circulation of Breath
This exercise can be done lying down, or sitting with your spine straight.  If you have difficulty with falling asleep or "spacing out" (wandering thoughts), you should do it sitting up.  This meditation involves circulating energy around the governing meridians of the torso, in coordination with your breathing.
  • Begin by visualizing energy coming up from the base of your spine
  • Visualize the energy moving in coordination with your breathing
  • As the energy moves up the spine, inhale
  • Continuing up the spine area
  • Over the top of the head
  • Visualize the energy moving in coordination with your breathing
  • As energy moves down the middle of the face, begin exhaling
  • Down the front of the chest to the groin, continue to exhale
  • Then inhale as you visualize the energy back up from the base of the spine
  • And again exhale as you visualize the energy down the front of your body
It is important to develop an "overview visualization" of the whole circulation of this energy, seeing it as one flowing circular band, even though you are concentrating on moving the energy "one section at a time".  It is also important NOT to stop moving the energy as you traverse the sections - keep it flowing, moving along its path.  Also, be sure that the speed of your visualization matches your breathing (consciously controlled breathing).


NOTE FROM THE BLOGGER:  I tried finding pictures and/or videos of these exercises but some did not match, were a close proximity, or simply did not exist/nothing even close.  I added to the book images for the Star Exercise to make it into a diagram. I did not include EVERY SINGLE thing from the book, and added the following 2 videos.  There will be more in the next blog, as well as dietary & other suggestions.  As the author says, you can find what works for you & make your training schedule fit your schedule & preferences.  I know that I will be deleting, substituting & tailoring my chart to fit me & my schedule (sorry, but cold showers are just NOT for me).

Introduction to the Meditations (Pages 333 - 338)
Here is an intro given to Jon by the monk RAGA:
The true you, the Inner Being, needs to make the transition from servant to the selfish separate self, to its master (if freedom, peace& harmony are to be found).  The meditations & techniques you are about to learn, are tools to help you achieve this, but they will only work properly in the right hands, with the right attitude, and with the right help.

The following meditations were created by the Atlantean Children of the Law of One before our written history, to help maintain spiritual awareness.  They are presented here to HELP you change, to find your natural balance, to be the director of the body-mind-spirit, to be spiritually, mentally & physically powerful, and to fulfill your maximum potential - all for the manifestation of the Inner Being, in the service of God, under the direction of, and within the flow of, the Universal Will.

Meditations are not the key to enlightenment.  You also need humility, Unselfish Love, and a true teacher, to shift control of your life from your selfish separate self, to your Inner Being.  
the children's meditation training program
The above image is a MEDITATION CHART CHECKLIST.  It is designed to cover a month at a time.  Print it out & use it without fail if you want to insure consistency & self-discipline.  If you want the meditations to be really effective, you must spend enough time doing each one.  The full program will take you 3 to 6 hours a day to do traditionally, and most effectively.  But if you do not truly have the time to do the full schedule as presented here, that's OK.  But have a constructive, positive attitude towards it, and create an alternative schedule.  ANY amount of meditation is better than none.

meditation is just one of many tools
RAGA:  This training is but one outgrowth of a change made through using your free will to harmonize & align with Universal Will.  A more important factor in making this  transition is having a true teacher.  That's because you can directly experience Unselfish Love & the Universal Spirit through an enlightened being.

You must be consistent in doing the exercises you will be learning, in order for them to really work.  Make God , service to God, & the attainment of Universal Consciousness the priority in your life.

Sometimes the separate self will fool you into thinking you don't like a meditation, or it doesn't work well for you, when in fact it may be the very one that would ultimately work best for you.

when to meditate
When people meditate, they experience greater balance, peace & "centeredness".  This helps them stay out of the illusions that hectic day to day life gets them to buy into believing is real.  But some of these effects from the meditations are temporary, and sort of "wear off" as the day "wears on".  For this reason, the Children have found it very important that meditations be done not all at once daily, but at least broken into 3 times a day.

Although they are not included in the training schedule, if possible, you should allot some time each day for:
  • Reading spiritually inspiring writings
  • Listening to or playing spiritually uplifting, positive music
  • doing group breathing, chanting, or energy flow exercises
  • ALSO - include personal things from your true teacher on your schedule

Making a 2nd Recording for Re-Programming Affirmations
The vibrational sounds recording will take you into a deep altered state.  They will take you so deep, that it is very likely that you will not be consciously thinking about giving yourself affirmations.  Thus, you will need to make a 2nd recording, that you will listen to at the same time as the Vibrational Sounds {or record both together}.  This 2nd recording will have your own voice on it, giving yourself the affirmations you want, to make the changes you want.

Making Affirmations for your Specific Needs
Here are some very important tips & instructions to get the most out of your tape:
  • Phrase your affirmations positively
  • Always use "I AM"
  • Keep in mind that your sub-conscious mind is like a computer; it takes things literally, according to its understanding 
Adding Visualizations to your Affirmations Recording
On your 2nd/Affirmations Recording, you will also record guided  visualizations, and what are considered "classic" self-hypnosis "induction" techniques.  Given at the end of this chapter {blogger included images below}.

Universal Re-Programming Affirmations
Some affirmations that the Children have EVERY student use can be found in Chapter 16 {Blog 39}.  If you choose to use these, or do your own, they should be read AFTER the guided visualization & induction commands on your affirmations tape.  Also, if you wish to add personal affirmations, you can do them after the Universal ones.

Recording & Listening to Both your Recordings
It is important that you DO NOT HAVE NOISES while recording your tape.  Noises can disturb your induction into the deep state you want to be in for the recording to be effective.  Also, SPEAK GENTLY, and RELATIVELY CLOSE  (about 6 inches) to the microphone/recording device.  And if you make a mistake, just go back & start again.

The Vibrational Sounds are about 28 minutes long.  Time your affirmations tape to match that.  The final phase of your affirmations tape is "WIDE AWAKE", and that should come at 28 minutes from when you started recording your tape.

One day Jon had the 1st of what would be many extraordinary meditations.  He began to see a circular aura of dim light, with a dark hole in the center.  It looked like a glowing purple "donut shaped" cloud surrounded by a dark void.  After experiencing this, Jon went to Zain to ask him about it.

ZAIN:  ...you are seeing your upper chakra, and one of the passageways out of your body.  Everyone perceives this a little differently, and some never see it at all.

One can attain glimpses of Universal Consciousness in several ways, including meditation.  But these are temporary visions of what you can achieve.  They are good to have, because it gives you a "taste" of the wonders that await you, and can thus motivate you on your path.  But you cannot attain permanent Universal Consciousness, without 1st having a conscious death experience.  You cannot be fully Unselfishly Loving, if you have not had a death experience.  Oddly enough, you cannot really live until you've died.

Before going on, Jon wants to make it clear that this chapter is not referring to real, physical death but the essence or experience of it...  A spiritual death experience brought on by meditation, and spiritual techniques, is even more profound, and accomplished without having to physically get near death to experience it. A DEATH EXPERIENCE MAY OR MAY NOT BE ACCOMPANIED BY PHYSICAL DEATH, AS IN A NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE.

ZAIN:  Once one consciously experiences death, it totally changes their life forevermore... the selfish separate self "dies"; only a temporary experience; only the self's SEPARATE CONSCIOUSNESS experiences this death... it dies long enough for you to fully experience Oneness with the Universal Spirit, and attain Universal Consciousness.  When you come out the other side of the death experience, the separate self is re-set, re-placed, re-born, but UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF THE UNIVERSAL SPIRIT - in the service of the Universal Will.

[TO JON] if you really want to accelerate it... When you see that hole in the center of the light.  Move towards it, move into it.  Eventually, you will enter a void, and then see another light, a greater light than you can imagine.  Move towards that.  Go into it.  Then we will talk more.

It was passive control, not active, that this thing responded to... but one day Jon did it, he entered the hole.  All of a sudden he was thrust beyond his control, through it, and into nothingness.  He felt like he was nothing.  He panicked, and was swept back into his body, with a jolt.  He now realized he was afraid.  He had, once again, learned a lesson in humility & respect.

Don't Fear the Reaper
THE FEAR OF DEATH IS CREATED & FOSTERED BY THE SEPARATE SELF, as a means of keeping its control &  its selfish, separate "life".

ZAIN:  One of the things about the conscious death experience that permanently changes us, is when we real-ize that our TRUE CONSCIOUSNESS, what we really are, DOESN'T END WITH DEATH.  When we thusly experience that our true consciousness not only remains, but also has eternal life, we lose the terrible fear of death from that moment on.  During the death experience, our true self also bathes in the light and Oneness of the Universal Spirit... And if you have positively changed your life, & become Unselfishly Loving, the plane of light & love that awaits, is beautiful beyond description, beyond words.

It is hard for one who has not experienced death, to imagine how much of a hold fear, fear of death, has on us - and how much it affects the way we live our lives... Once free from fear, life is lived with great feeling, great zest, great lightness, and great freedom.  When you are free from fear, actions are no longer controlled by what we are afraid of, they are controlled by the real you, and based on what is right.

Fear can & does have a purpose, but only in its proper place... It should become a warning mechanism only.

When you really "get" that you are going to die, it changes you - this gives you a feeling of cherishing every moment, every flower, every person... It permanently changes you.  You no longer take anyone or anything for granted.  Each moment is new & full, and you walk with death at your side...constantly reminding you to live life to the fullest, appreciate it to the fullest, & live the righteous life of a servant to the Universal Spirit.

The Creation of the Death Experience
Generally, the conscious death experience is the end result of long efforts at spiritual growth...All put pressure on the separate selfish self, and "corners it".  The pain of that, along with losing attachments, of seeing the darkness in the world, all build up & at some point you just can't take it any more.  This has been called the Dark Night of the Soul.  This is the point when one will either flip "out" or flip "in", according to their free will choice.

Ancient History
ZAIN:  Long ago, it was more ritualized.  In the old days, a student that was close to having the death experience, was given a push... For instance, during the days of our time in Atlantis this was done, and during our work in Egypt, the Great Pyramid was used for such Initiation.  The student would be given an elixir that stimulated the imagination.  Then, they would begin to be treated as if they had actually died.  They were placed in a sarcophagus, a death ceremony was performed, the rites of death were gone through, and the sarcophagus was taken to what is now called the King's Chamber in the Pyramid.  There, the combination of the student's training, the elixir, the death rituals, the energy of the pyramid, and the hierarchical guides that would come, would all combine & precipitate the death experience.  The student would transcend the dweller, and be met by the hierarchical guides, who would share their journey of initiation into Universal Consciousness.  The next day, the student that walked in was no more, and an Initiate walked out.

The hierarchical guides still come when it is your time.  But it is just left to the flow to determine the means, and time.

JUST LET GO & TRANSCEND YOUR FEAR.

The Dweller on the Threshold
The Dweller on the Threshold is nothing but your own separate self.  It is a terrible selfish monster.  Only by feeling Unselfish Love, even when confronted by this monster, will you be able to pass.

Beyond the Threshold
Once you pass your dweller, you will enter a void.  Somewhere in that void, you will find a light.  Always look toward the center of the light, and use your will to move towards it, and into it.  When you move into the light, when you are engulfed in the light, you will be free, be One with the Universal Spirit.  At this point, you will be given a choice to stay on the Earth plane & help others, or to go on & remain in paradise.  The choice is yours.

Jon never did voluntarily go through his death experience in meditation.  Instead he became very ill & experienced 3 death experiences, both physical & spiritual.  During the final one, he met his guides, and was given a tour of all things.  All things on Earth, in life, & the Universe.  He had 5 days of visions of the future, then he began his journey as an Initiated monk,  and each moment of his life since then has been a miracle.

Things to Do Today (Before I Physically Die)
There is a special "death awareness" technique you can develop that can have a profoundly beneficial effect on your life - even before you have a death experience.  Everyone should CONSTANTLY be reminding themselves that they could physically die AT ANY TIME.   Remember, you are in fact GOING TO DIE SOMEDAY.  And in thinking about it, think about how you are LEAVING things, and how you are using your life RIGHT NOW.

1.  If you were going to die in 5 minutes, is the way you have left things with the people in your life, how you want to leave them?
2.  Are the last things you said, what you want to have left said?
3.  Have you left anything UNsaid that you would have wanted to say before you're gone for good?
4.  With the perspective of knowing that you are going to die at any minute, how important to you is that issue of ________ that really IRRITATED you.
5.  Is the terrible argument you had about ________ really important?
6.  Have you done what you wanted to, or needed to do, with your life?
7.  What is the legacy you are leaving?  Are your last actions the actions you would want to be your last?

Walking With Death by Your Side
Live your life consciously aware that death is always by your side.  It really helps keep things in perspective, and changes the way you live.  Awareness of death, begets real life.
